Health Edition is a joint venture between New Ulm Medical Center (NUMC) and The Journal, New Ulm's daily newspaper. It's published quarterly in The Journal to update area residents on health care and New Ulm Medical services and programs.
Women in top three leadership positions at NUMC
It will not come as a surprise to anyone who knows a little about the history of health care in New Ulm that women have always had a strong influence in the leadership of the hospitals. For the first time in history, women fill the three major leadership positions at NUMC at the same time.
Heart of New Ulm screens more than 1,000 people The Heart of New Ulm project got out of the gate in April with the start of heart health screenings at Martin Luther College. Screenings continue now through the summer.
