Psychologist Janice Beauduy returns to practice at NUMC

A familiar face is back in the outpatient psychiatric services unit of New Ulm Medical Center (NUMC). Psychologist Janice Beauduy now splits her time between caring for her patients in New Ulm and caring for her elderly aunt in northern Minnesota.

Janice Beauduy, MD, M.S., L.P.

Dr. Beauduy practiced at NUMC for almost 20 years prior to her departure in April 2007. She had cared for her mother and her aunt locally for about ten years and moved with them to continue looking after them. Her mother has since passed away and she has been able to put into place caregivers for her aunt on a part-time basis. She now sees patients in New Ulm on a part-time basis with a rotating schedule each week.

“I was very happy to be able to return to a practice that I enjoyed so much,” Beauduy said.

Dr. Beauduy works primarily with women who suffer from mood disorders, but her practice is open to a wide range of diagnoses.

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Beauduy, call the outpatient psychiatric services unit at NUMC at 507-233-1168.

“One thing has remained constant - the compassionate care given to the patients of New Ulm and surrounding communities,” said Lori Wightman, NUMC president.
