Buffalo Hospital Foundation
Buffalo Hospital Foundation's mission is to be a catalyst for innovative services and facilities to improve community health.
From community wellness and to surgical services, emergency care to delivering babies, Buffalo Hospital plays a vital role in the health of our community.
Today the hospital is stronger than ever, thanks to many individuals, organizations, companies and foundations. These essential partnerships support compassionate and innovative care.
Your gifts in action
On August 2, Buffalo Hospital's new Birth Center opened for patients. This beautiful new center was designed to be environmentally safe and friendly with recycled floorings, fabrics, wall coverings and window glazing to reduce heating and cooling costs.
In addition to the modern technology for the physicians and nurses, the Birth Center offers new mothers and family member a private post-partum room with a soaking tub, wireless internet access, iPod docking station, small personal refrigerator, a rocking chair for new mothers and a beautiful, light-filled space with the equipment needed for newborn care. Also, a special music system was installed to play beautiful lullaby chimes throughout the hospital to celebrate the birth of each new baby.
Gifts are still needed to fully complete the birth center, which would include building one labor and delivery room, two post-partum rooms and an operating room. Specific naming opportunities are still available. To make a donation of any size, please call the Foundation at 763-684-6800.

Reasons to give
To discuss philanthropic interests, including charitable estate gifts, call Karla Heeter, executive director of the Buffalo Hospital Foundation, at 763-684-6808.
The Foundation raises funds to help Buffalo Hospital provide exceptional patient-centered care within our walls and to the community we serve. Buffalo Hospital is a not-for-profit organization that reinvests its profits to improve its services and facilities.
As our community continues to grow, the hospital's revenue alone is not adequate to keep pace with demands for bigger and better facilities, technologies and services. This is partially due to the high cost of providing care and partially due to the decreasing rate of reimbursement we receive from insurance companies.
As a nonprofit hospital, we are committed to serving every person who walks through our door, regardless of their insurance coverage or financial resources. Gifts to the Foundation help ensure that the citizens of Wright and surrounding counties benefit from exceptional health services available at the hospital and in the community.
